Pennywhiskers collects nothing. Your money, your cat, and everything you type stay on your phone. There is no account, no sign up, no server, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Who we are

What we collect
Nothing. The app has no network code. It never sends any information off your device, to us or to anyone else. We have no way to see your budget, your spending, your cat's name, or anything you type.
Where your data lives
Everything the app knows is kept in one file in the app's private storage on your device. That file is shared only with the app's own home screen widget, which lives on the same device. It is never copied anywhere else by the app.
You are in full control of it. In Settings, Export gives you the file to save or send wherever you choose, and Erase All Data deletes it. Deleting the app also deletes it.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders, iOS schedules them on your device using the time and cat name you chose. Nothing is sent anywhere. You can switch them off at any time in the app's Settings, or in your iPhone's Settings under Notifications, and any scheduled reminders are removed.
Third parties
The app uses no third party services, software kits, analytics, or advertising. No third party collects any information through the app, and no third party can track you across apps or websites through it.
You buy Pennywhiskers through Apple's App Store. Apple handles that purchase under Apple's own privacy policy. We receive no personal information about you from your purchase.
Tracking and "do not track"
Pennywhiskers does not track you, so there is nothing for a "do not track" setting to change. The app never asks for tracking permission because it never tracks.
Children
Pennywhiskers is a general audience app about everyday spending. It is not directed at children under 13, and because it collects nothing, it collects nothing from anyone of any age.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to act on. Every piece of your data is already on your device and already yours: export it or erase it at any time from Settings. If you believe we have this wrong, write to us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date, and the app's update notes will say so.
